Assessment

The Online Practical Assessment on Day 5 is designed to evaluate students’ understanding and application of the skills and concepts learned throughout the Graphic Design Training Course. This assessment will provide an opportunity for students to demonstrate their creativity, technical proficiency, and problem-solving abilities in a real-world design scenario.

Assessment Format:

  • Duration: 2 hours

  • Platform: Conducted online via Zoom

  • Submission: All design projects must be submitted digitally by the end of the assessment.

 

Assessment Components:

  1. Design Challenge (60 minutes)

    • Students will be presented with a design brief that outlines a specific project (e.g., creating a promotional poster, a logo, or a social media graphic).

    • Participants will need to conceptualize and create a design that meets the criteria outlined in the brief, applying the principles of design, typography, and color theory covered in the course.

  2. Portfolio Presentation (30 minutes)

    • Each student will present their design solution to the instructor and peers, explaining their design choices, processes, and the rationale behind their work.

    • This segment will allow for constructive feedback and discussion on design strategies and techniques.

  3. Q&A Session (30 minutes)

    • Students will have the opportunity to ask questions about the course content, industry practices, or design challenges they may face as they continue their journey in graphic design.
