IASP 30-hour Safety & Health General Training Program
The IASP 30-hour Safety and Health Training Program is intended to provide a variety of training to managers, engineers, supervisors, and superintendents with safety responsibility, hazard identification, avoidance, control, and prevention, as well as OSHA standards.
The program covers managing safety and health, injury and illness prevention programs, job site inspections, accident prevention programs, management commitment and employee involvement, worksite analysis, hazard prevention, and control, incident investigations, how to conduct safety meetings, and supervisory communication.
Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of the IASP 30-hour Safety and Health in General Industry Training Program, you will:

Understand your responsibilities as a manager, engineer, supervisor, superintendent, and those of your employer, under UAE safety regulations, and be able to explain the principles of health and safety management systems.

Have knowledge of key health and safety topics and how to ensure good practice within them.

Understand the importance of, and the key factors in, undertaking a risk assessment to prevent and control hazards.
