COSHH- Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Training
The COSHH training course provides an understanding of hazardous substances, as outlined within the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations.
It will equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to identify hazardous substances in your workplace and understand the legal requirements of COSHH.
الامتثال للأنظمة واللوائح- الصحة والسلامة
Providing COSHH training to your employees is essential. It helps your business ensure that all employees meet the minimum requirements of safety knowledge that is required by the government.
According to Occupational Safety & Health Law - UAE Government, employers are required to control exposure to hazardous substances to prevent ill health. Contractors have to protect both employees and others who may be exposed by complying with the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH). Contractors should assess risks, implement measures needed to control exposure, and establish good working practices
Employees who are new to an organization or who are young people suffer more accidents and ill health than the rest of the working population. COSHH training and orientation in the workplace are essential to protect employees. Failing to train employees in basic health and safety is an offense and may lead to prosecution, increased civil claims, poor employee relations, and poor performance in the organization. The COSHH course we have developed provides an interactive experience for trainees to learn the basic elements of health, safety, and environment in the workplace, how they can be involved in risk assessments and what to look out for at work.
In this training, participants will learn the risk to health from hazardous substances, risk assessment, and adequate measures that should be implemented to prevent or control employees from being exposed to hazardous substances. Also, they will learn why it's very important to work safely, the benefits of working safely, legal requirements and compliance, and the foundation of the OH & S Management System.
Whether you are an employer or an employee, this training course will benefit you.
